Three isn't always a crowd.

A ménage-à-trois can be a fun, erotic and exhilarating adventure for all involved. But before the clothes come off, take steps to ensure that it’s a positive experience for everyone. You’ll need to act responsibly and respectfully, keeping some dos and don’ts in mind.
DO: Discuss Boundaries
Diving into a threesome could be your dream come true, but it could turn into your worst nightmare if you don’t give it some forethought. Have a little powwow with your partners before the hanky panky begins. Discuss comfort levels – what’s acceptable and what’s not for each of you. Choose a safe word to stop the action if anyone becomes uncomfortable. Select a word that you don't use often during sex like "broomstick" or "compass." It's okay to change your mind about something once you get started. Just say the safe word and revise your boundary.
DO: Practice Safe Sex
Talk to everyone about sexual health before the fun begins, and always use protection. Consider having the Durex® Pleasure Pack® on hand because you’ll need to change condoms every time you switch partners. While it's easy to get wrapped up in the situation, be mindful of safety. A little bit of awareness during the threesome will save you tons of worry afterwards.
DON'T: Leave Anyone Out
Make sure everyone feels included – no one likes to be a third wheel. One way to do this is for two of you to focus on the third partner before switching things up. By keeping the focus on one person at a time, everyone stays busy and satisfied. Don’t be afraid speak up and let your needs be known because no one can read your mind. It's easy to get overwhelmed, so use verbal and non-verbal communication cues to help steer the three of you to ecstasy.
DO: Set the Mood
Create a sexy environment. While some people prefer to get a hotel room, make sure the lights are dimmed and the music is right wherever you decide to get busy. Play host to your partners. A little nervousness before and even during the threesome is normal, so do your best to help everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Offer water and snacks. Bring toys. Order an adult movie. Pour glasses of sparkling wine. Don't drink too much, though – you’ll want to remember every detail of this special evening.
DON'T: Be Too Serious
Don't overthink things. “Playful” is the name of the game when it comes to a three-way. Remain open-minded and stay true to yourself. Make it about fun and experimentation. A threesome will introduce you to new sensations and allow you to explore your fantasies.
